2008 Red Rock Rendezvous
Join the Beehive Beemers 19-22 June in Panguitch, Utah, for the 2008 version of the Red Rock Rendezvous featuring 360 degrees of great riding! If you’ve finally ridden Capitol Reef, Zion, Bryce, Kodachrome, Cedar Breaks, Brian Head, Coral Pink Sand Dunes, Devil’s Backbone, Grand Staircase – Escalante and Utah 12 over Boulder Mountain it’s probably time to start over again! If you haven’t done it all yet, come on out and pick up where you left off last time or see this incredible country for the first time. Just f or fun, you might want to visit Monument Valley, Canyonlands, Arches or Natural Bridges on the way to or from the rally.
If you haven’t attended before, there’s plenty of grassy and shaded camping at the rally site in the city park on the north end of town. As far as food goes, this year we’ll again be serving Chicago style brau ts at the RRR Beer Garden on Thursday and Friday nights, kicking off Saturday’s activities with the Lion’s Club Breakfast, and then finishing up that evening with the Panguitch Fire Department’s famous pit barbecue followed by drawing for prizes. Freshly brewed coffee will be available each morning.
We’ll be doing a Geochache again this year in addition to the usual tech sessions, a poker run and the traditional Saturday GS ride. Hope to see you there!
